Bonpet 7X (B7X)
B7X is matte white PETG film designed to have high ultimate transverse direction (TD) shrink coupled with machine direction (MD) growth. The B7X offers high opacity in contrast to clear films for enhanced light protection of the package contents, and the bright white color accentuates print graphics to produce a highly appealing label to consumers. The matte finish and opacity are achieved by micro-voiding the film. The micro-voiding reduces the specific gravity making it a high-yield film in comparison to clear PETG films. Flexographic, offset, or digital printing are the preferred print methods for B7X. A water based antistatic coating is applied to one side of the film that is wound to be the outside surface of the finished roll. The inside surface of the film is the preferred print side.
Bonpet 7G (B7G)
B7G is a gloss white PETG film that provides light protection to package contents. The high gloss appearance eliminates the need for gloss varnish coatings. The B7G exhibits high ultimate transverse direction (TD) shrink and machine direction (MD) growth comparable to the B8A. The B7G is not micro-voided and may be successfully printed by any print method. A water based antistatic coating is applied to one side of the film that is wound to be the outside surface of the finished roll. The inside surface of the film is the preferred print side.
