About Bonset America

Bonset America Corporation is a subsidiary of C.I. Takiron Corporation of Osaka, Japan. The Greensboro plant represents the first U.S. venture by any Japanese heat-shrinkable film manufacturer. In the years since its establishment, it has become one of the largest producers of heat shrinkable film for the full body labeling industry. The future goal is a world-wide expansion effort to make Bonset the leading producer in the global market. This growth will correspond with local conditions and customer needs. Initial production began with PVC Film often used for labels on small containers and tamper evident sealing. Now Bonset's BONSET®-PVC, BONPET®-PETG, and BONFLEX®-SBS/OPS films are used for printed full-body sleeves for the labeling, bundling, and proofing, of many different consumer products.

Located in the heart of North Carolina's Piedmont/Triad area, the plant combines the aesthetics of a natural setting with high-tech manufacturing processes. The geographic location makes it ideal to service U.S. and foreign markets. Ground-breaking occurred in May, 1989, and one year later on May 14, 1990, the first product was shipped. A series of building expansions, including the most recent one in 2008, has allowed Bonset's capacity to grow with the needs and trends of US and Export Markets.
